CABINET SALES REMAIN ROBUST
According to the KCMA's monthly Trend of Business Survey, participating cabinet manufacturers reported an increase in overall cabinet sales of 14.7% for November 2022 compared to the same month in 2021.
November 2022 sales increases over November 2021:
- Overall sales up 14.7%
- Custom sales up 24.9%
- Semi-custom up 22.1%
- Stock sales up by 7.8%
- Estimated cabinet quantity decreased 1.4%
The month-to-month comparison was not as strong (November 2022 compared to October 2022):
- Overall sales down 3.5%
- Custom sales down 0.5%
- Semi-custom down 6.5%
- Stock sales down 1.8%
- Estimated cabinet quantity down 2.0%
YTD 2022 to 2021:
- Overall sales up 17.1%
- Custom sales up 17.2%
- Semi-custom up 17.3%
- Stock sales up by 16.9%
- Estimated cabinet quantity down 0.6%

Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 75% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market. KCMA is the major trade association for kitchen cabinet and bath vanity manufacturers and key suppliers of goods and services to the industry. KCMA has been compiling and reporting industry sales data for more than forty years.
